General
Do you serve breakfast all day?+
Yes, breakfast is served all day, every day from 8:00am to 3:00pm. Eggs Benedict is weekends only.
Do you serve alcohol?+
No. We offer coffee, espresso drinks, smoothies and other non-alcoholic beverages.
Can I order online?+
Yes — order online for pickup at 300 Biden Street during regular hours, 8:00am to 3:00pm daily. Pay online and your order will be ready when you arrive.
Do you deliver?+
Yes. We deliver in the Scranton downtown district Monday through Friday, and outside the business district with a $50 minimum Monday–Friday. We’re also on DoorDash and UberEATS; app prices can differ from in-store prices.
Is this the same place that was on Spruce Street?+
Same place, same corner. The city renamed Spruce Street to Biden Street, so our address is now 300 Biden Street.
Where can I park?+
Metered street parking is available on Biden Street and surrounding blocks Monday–Friday. Street parking is free on weekends. Electric City Parking Garage is just across the street.
Is there a fee for paying with a credit card?+
Yes. A 3% service fee applies to credit card payments. There is no fee on debit cards.
Do you take reservations?+
We do not take reservations. Seating is first come, first served.
Do you have vegetarian options?+
Yes: the vegetarian wrap, Greek, Florentine and vegetable omelettes, avocado toast with eggs, pancakes, French toast, grilled cheese, several salads, and the custom salad bar.
Catering
What kinds of events does Downtown Deli cater?+
Showers, graduation parties, office meetings, and business events within about a 20 mile radius. We’ve been catering since 2010. Menus are built around your event and theme.
Do you cater weddings?+
No. Per our current policy, Downtown Deli & Eatery does not cater weddings. We focus on showers, graduation parties, office meetings, and business events.
How do I place a catering order?+
Call or text 272-772-5699 any day from 8:00am to 3:00pm, or send a quote request online. Share your date, headcount, location, and the kind of menu you want.
How far in advance should I order?+
Please allow at least 48 hours for trays and 1 to 2 weeks for full events. For last-minute office orders, call 272-772-5699.
